AS I told you yesterday Bro, this is much easier for me to listen to than the Fragile Vastness material. FV was seriously prog metal and thats just not something that Im into anymore( mostly because you have to really pay attention when its on LOL)

For me, the melodies and production kick all kinds of ass and I never expected femal vocals, which is a welcomed surprise.

Great Stuff and even better to have you back here!!!

At first listen – badass. Until the male vocals come in. The musical accompaniment is awesome. Love the writing. Love the phrasing and overall feel. The guitar tone is amazing and I'm extremely jealous. The female vocals are awesome. But the male vocals rub me the wrong way. They're a bit cheesy. Plus I'm really not a fan of the dual singer thing. I feel the same way about bands like Lacuna Coil. Female vocals are great, but once that guy starts singing it just ruins it for me.

Thanks mate..
I know what you mean..No worries..
I started listening to melodic death and metalcore just a few months before i started writting material for this band..
Before that, with the exception of Pantera,i couldn't hear any kind of growling voice.I simply didn't like any of that stuff..
But since i got into that style, that mix of vocals is sort of a given and now i enjoy it a lot..But as other listeners have
mentioned to me here and there,i can understand completely that you either listen to this kind of vocals or you don't..
So no worries as i said before..Thanks a lot for checking out.. ;)

The double cd Fragile Vastness is epic, we will have to agree to disagree on your thooughts!

I would that disk up there with some major release favs, so elegant at times with flavors of the greek islands while also at times bringing outstanding prog into the mix.

That cd is just incredible.

I generally prefer the VH4 out of all Diezel amps..
But for the specific band and recording i used a Herbert..I'm curious to listen to the Haggen for the specific style though..Still haven't seen it anywhere..
Cheers!

Killer guitar tones, you REALLY made me miss my Einstein :(

Thank a lot mate..
Hehe..Yeah..The Einstein is sure an awesome amp..Actually the custom Diezel Peter made for me was about 60% Einstein in a H4 housing..
Channels 1 and 2 were identical to the Einstein..Channel 3 was the VH4 stock 3rd channel and channel 4 was a mix of VH4's lead channel and Einstein's lead channel.. Less compressed than the VH4..More overtones than the Einstein..Awesome amp! :)

Cool writing and playing, but, like others, I just can't get past the male grawling vocal. 'Just not my thing.

I feel exactly the same way. Never been a fan of "cookie monster" vocals. But I always love a new metal band with a good chick singer and this stuff kicks ass.

Oh and yeah... Alex... you are an awesome player. Your stuff was flawless man!
