update: I have since done a 180 on this pickup after just disconnecting the tone knob

It's now in my top 5s

I wouldn't take it out of my Charvel San Dimas. It has a super cool toggle switch that instantly takes you to bridge pickup/full volume/no tone control, no matter how the controls are set.

It's the only guitar in my collection that has a TZ, and also the only with a Cruiser + Chopper, so it has its own thing.
