So...

I was on lunch at work in the office when I popped Facebook up on my phone and came across that clip of Fluff get'n down on that amp. And as soon as he started ripping away, we got ROCKED with an earthquake here in Alaska.

I was a bit confused and disoriented for a second until I looked up at the walls swaying back and forth around me... No way this building is gunna hold up.

I ripped my headphones out and BOLTED out the door into an open parking lot. Car alarms are going off for miles around, every animal in Anchorage is screaming on the top of its lungs and - oh, shit... I'm waaay too close to these damn power lines that look like they're trying to play jump rope. I backed away, trying to keep my balance and distance between my office building and the power lines, trying to look out for whichever gives out first as I stand there in a T-shirt, below freezing and not at all noticing the weather.

I swear I was waiting for the ground to open up around me.

Coincidence?

I think not...

Great sounding amp, Dave. But Geezus, tone 'er down a bit.

And the ground did open up in some places.

Dammit, Fluff!!

No doubt about it.

I've only heard a couple clips and it's already making me crazy.

I've got a Mills Afterburner cab that's a bit effed I'd like to set up to run that way.

This looks like the year of Friedman. Dude's been bizzaaay!!

79.4 miles... Crazy, that was a deep earthquake....., those 15" speakers rock

I bet if they plug into a full stack, the big one on the Cascadia subduction zone is going to let loose :scared:

Right?!

I'd probably be back there just in time for that shit, too. (Live in WA, work in AK)

that also explains why i was talking to my wife the other day and her pants suddenly dropped....that happened on the east coast a lot from what i understand...

Friedman is the man...

I hung out a couple of times at the Friedman booth this trip. The Butterslax is a brutal amp. I hate to say it but Bill's video with Premier Guitar doesn't do it justice. The videos of Alex and Greg at the top of the thread are closer to what it does.

One of Dave's reps was saying that the "Clean" channel is basically the Plexi channel of the Smallbox, the "BE" Channel is the JBE, and the "HBE" channel is just about as far as they could go. It's brutal and has tons of gain, yet keeps some of that Friedman characteristic.

It's pretty darned beastly.
