New Fryette PS100 redplating

Having to repair relatively new PS100's sounds a little concerning.....

Sounds like it was just a bad tube.....which is pretty typical for modern tubes, unfortunately.

Replacing a tube isn't a repair. It's maintenance. Like replacing a light bulb.

Having to repair relatively new PS100's sounds a little concerning.....

Relentlessly running a 72 100w superlead dimed into it did it. Perhaps the owner had the vents covered a little and was restricting airflow. Who knows.
