Sounds like a demo....it sure ain’t no Ace Frehley

It hasn't been Re Recorded, just remastered, so basically its "almost" a demo

I am struggling to see how this is worth $999 (if that price is true) .... $100 maybe but not anymore than that

So is this new or something they did a while back and just now out as sort of a mastered demo? Sounds alright.. on one hand it goes to show how important Axl's voice is to the core of the sound, on the other, it sounds a like something off of UYI which is sort of "cool" but not amazing to me. I think what i always think.. the rawness is missing because that rawness comes with Steven Adler.

That "demo" sound you hear is the sound of real musicians in a room together creating music and letting little mistakes in the playing slip in. This recording is Kanye-free basically. LOL!

Ive heard re recorded and others say only re-mastered? not sure but the recording sounds like how slash plays these days... dunno

There`s three different versions on iTunes for preorder a $9.99 version which is just AFD remastered , a $19.99 Deluxe version which includes AFD remastered the Shadow Of Your Love Single and a bunch of demos , live stuff , rarities and a Super Deluxe version for $29.99 which includes AFD remastered the Shadow Of Your Love single all the stuff from the Deluxe version plus more rarities . Myself I just DL`ed the Shadow Of Your Love single and I`ll get the standard AFD remaster when it`s released in June

I`d bet Slash put some recent overdubs on there. Sounds like it to me

This version was recorded along with the songs that were on the Live Like a Suicide EP from early `87 . For some reason they didn`t include Shadow Of Your Love . This is without the crowd that was dubbed in later. Slash is most likely using his BC Rich Warlock on this

Yikes, thank goodness Tracii moved along, i don't think he has ever written a decent solo.

This also makes me realize as i posted above, that AFD probably would not have been what it was with a different singer. Axl just has that aggressive pissed off voice that fits the style so well.

Man I think Tracii has done some great stuff with LA Guns and is playing better than ever at the moment but thats just my opinion. FWIW he's heavily influenced by Randy Rhoads

I always remember Steven played with an open high-hat on a lot of the songs, almost like his signature drum sound.

meh that solo sounded fine to me. In fact I think it was better than the one Slash put on it...with better production it would have killed
