This is going to make people mad but whatever.....

All of these old, fading/faded stars putting out new music is just terrible. Motley Crue, GnR, etc.

I wish they would just move on instead of doing whatever this is.

People actually paying to hear any of this live is just based off of pure nostalgia for something that has been long lost.

Leave it behind and move forward.
Agree - this is not good GnR at all.
One of the few vocal guys that still has nearly all of his range is Glenn Hughes. He's a beast.
Halford still sounds great, as does Tate, though they have lost the top end of their range. Sammy Hagar, whatever your opinion of him is, still puts on a great show sand has most of his range as well.
But who the hell expects guys in their 60's & 70's to realistically still be capable of doing that?

oh boy ...........................

I didn't hate it ..... but it definitely sounds like it fell off the Chinese Democracy B list .....

no main guitar riff ..... but a 70's ish keyboard one instead ..... and of course a " Slash " solo .....

Late to the party but THIS. It now appears as if AFD was the exception and not the norm. Somehow GnR tricked us into believing they were this raw rock n roll machine and the beginning of a new era for rock and instead Axl started to slip up and reveal who he really was by UYI I and II. Still, those were pretty good. Had some great epic tunes like November Rain and Estranged etc.. But all Axl seems to want to do is write dramatic melodic rock. His voice is also garbage now regardless of how much autotune or melodyne they use. Slash is Slash and he seems to know how to punctuate guitar parts in songs but even for him this has to be boring as shit. I honestly can't listen to them much anymore besides AFD. I wish they would stop touring and just go away. Give Slash and duff a side band with a young vocalist and see what happens.

I think at a certain point all these guys need to call it a day and do solo projects. I bet you they would be much happier. Look at Mick Mars. Sure he isn't selling out stadiums and maybe that is the hardest thing to give up but he is doing fresh music that he likes much better with younger guys who energize but can also perform vocals. A guy like Slash or duff is always going to be able to get festival and opening arena gigs because he has pedigree. I mean Snakepit was a pretty rocking band and so was Velvet Revolver so re-invention can work.

Yeah, but they just put up a half billion dollars of tickets for the 2026 tour. And rockstar living ain't cheap. Hard to pass on that. A SMKC tour brings in like 1/50th the revenue.

True but that only proves further that these guys are going through the motions.

They are still dangerous though. One of them could fall onstage, and at their age that's dangerous as shit. More dangerous than skin popping smack like they did in the old days. You gotta give credit.

Tom Jones, at around 80, still sounds great.

and just for the hell of it, why not a random dig at Lars, but it technically starts out with GnR 🤣

I love that guy's vids, great drummer. He's right about that intro fill, it never did sound right to me either!
