Growing fears of food shortages on USS Tripoli & other US ships in the Middle East.This photo is the kind of meals now being served. It was sent by a sailor to her family. Families are now trying to send food parcels to the ships.

Could be. Could be a couple people angry about being deployed putting one item on their tray, taking a photo or two, and then posting it to instagram and complaining. I guess you don't really get my theme of not believing in photos and video of stuff because misrepresentation is too easy. I mean, I generally would believe it's a real military tray with some sort of mystery meat on it, but I do not necessarily believe it was the only option for food.

its called underway replenishment. no one is running out of anything.
The tin cans may run short on water because they cant make fast enough but they'll still get it from unreps

we got resupplied by civilian USNS ships. sometimes those maneuvers went on for 36 hours straight,
then we resupplied the whole fleet

Floating goddamn supply house with a line back over the horizon on both sides

so if you dont know what the fuck you're talking about and have no facts other than AI then just shut the fuck up

and furthermore families always sent care packages during long deployments. WHY? because you cant be guaranteed you'll get the brand you like
if you served you would have known that.

My girl use to send me Kellogg's raisin bran and pop tarts. WHY. because i didnt like the Post branded shit they had on board

and when you pull into a commie port you'll have to buy local shit or try to hit the exchange on base. takes way too much time away from liberty call. cheap slut whores and booze comes first

you idiot , there's at least 3 battle groups in and around the PG and another 2 off Lebanon

Morale is always low when you're out to sea especially on extended excursions

The G Ford has already been out 8 months.. you really think the crew is happy

Jeez we got extended 3 weeks on a 6 month ride and it was like wholly hell when are we getting home
