New Guitar Day -- Chubtone

I don't particularly care for the brass bridge, but that's what was standard back in the day
In all my experience with almost 300 Chubtone builds, the brass bridges like that and like Charvel used in the late 70's and early 80's are the best sounding tremolo bridges ever made.
 
I looked at doing that -- the damn pickup cavity is too shallow, so it will need to be routed out. The L500s are pretty tall pickups.

What's the deal with all these shallow pickup cavities. A Duncan Distortion won't fit either.
Shallow pickup cavities are for people who want direct mount pickups. I don't like them either.
