They finally are coming out with a pretty close spec of the Concorde. Made overseas. Had the original version way back. Pretty cool

For $2,500 listed on Jackson’s site and Sweetwater, I hope it’s not made overseas. Pictures and specs do look great though.

Edit: Pictures of back of headstock says crafted in Korea, so yep guys it is overseas.

2500 dollars for a WMI guitar!?!?!

I wonder what 'cost' is if dealer tag price is $2,500.00?

I have to think that if one is patient, you can get a clean 'previously owned' example at a significant discount in a matter of months.

even so, 1500 is still overpriced for a korean import 🤷‍♂️

no matter the specs, and no matter how nice it is

Maybe if the msrp was 1500 and THEN you could factor in a deal

They say "close spec" yet right from the get go it has the wrong body wood .. Randys was ALL MAPLE, not Alder insight hahaha

They'll sell a ton.
Carlino straps (not cheap) makes a replica of the strap Randy used on the Concorde, for anyone who is in a tribute band (or is that big of a Randy fan)

Eh, non-locking trem plus Jackson heastock is a recipe for tuning trouble. I don't care if it's what Randy played, I'll pass.

The $2500 bit is just LOL.

I got my Chubtone, hand crafted and with my selection of every aspect for about $1800.

That is too much for a Korean guitar. The Snakebyte and other signature guitars are about $1000 or so less than that.

Even if Randy used a non locking trem, that would be a deal breaker for me. I mean that thing would be out of tune after one run through Over the Mountain, right?

Apparently when set up right they can work.. my Jap early YJM spec strat comes back to pitch after dives and whammy fuckery IF I pull slightly up and back. Floyds were just coming into the picture in 81 /82 so no doubt he likely would have changed to those.

I am with everyone else though..3500$ CAD and then goes of tax for Korean made axe? I am sure theu make fine guitars but at that price point I am just picking up A USA LP or explorer.
