I love old Priest, but when Painkiller arrived my mind was blown. It was so much better than anything else out there, including Rust in Peace

  I will never understand other people's tastes/opinions in music..... :(

Rust in Peace was effin monumentuuuuulllllzzz!!!!

I like this tune actually. If the guitars were louder, it would be better. This is way better than their past death metal attempts.

It's like a "Kinder gentler" priest on this one, which I want no part of.

Painkiller brought the band into the modern world of Metal after the pathetic Radio friendly commercial attempts of Turbo.

damm those engls...
bring back the 1987x with the rangemaster!!!!

I think I'll dig this song better after hearing it in the context of the entire album

I really like it but I'm an 80's fanboi. I think it sounds dated, but I also think that is exactly why I like it. Listening to that, it sounds like something that came out mid-80s. I don't care much for some of the newer recordings out there where the "studio magic" is pumping everything up so far that it distorts. Everything is so trebly and harsh these days.

I read about this album coming out and I know that Priest is purposely trying to capture their older sound. I don't know, maybe I"ll be wrong about this but hoping I like the album.

Unfortunately.... it sounds like a recycled riff or old B side...

Recording wise might be Home studio stuff...If you are only going to sell Half a million CDs or Downloads Worldwide...if you are lucky...

The quality may be reduced, from what the "paid for" version will be....
Rob vocally may be if we tour.... I need to sing this song every night.... hence the vocal range...
on the last tour I don't think Priest tuned down lower then E flat...
Unlike other bands their age going to D and C.....
