Only one that could pull off a good VH was RocksTah ...

The Landry can sound very brown and can easily cop vh tones if dialed in right. This video above isn't the best representation.

I know this demo is all VH riffs . But when I listen to amp demos , sometimes I listen to just the big crunchy chords , the timbre in those chords .The initial chord reminds me of some demos I've heard of a Cali mod on a Marshall . I agree , I would like to hear other things than VH riffs .

That's right, dialed mine in a few weeks back with my EVH guitar and it sounded very good although not an EVH fanboy player.

I like my Bray better for this kind of sound however. Landry is a great versatile amp.

Really? Go to Landry's site and listen to the man playing VH. Sounds tits. More importantly, who cares what it sounds like playing 30 year old VH riffs, that amp sounds phenomenal regardless of what's being played.

I know Bill he's here in town, his amps do the VH fine.

Point is there lots of other music.

Ive played his amps and prefer my Marshalls.

FWIW Marks amps had a better upper mid bark.

My tech has a Landry and ive played it, it lacked the grind im used to.

We are all different ya know ... ;)

I absolutely LOVE my Landry G3! This wasn't going for that old VH tone, but the W/D/W F.U.C.K. and Balance tone thing. The G3 has been a great amp for me and very versatile.
