NEW Mudvayne to wash off the neo-soul bullshit.

Is all the recent talk and print about Neo-Soul just advertising and creating curiosity about the Neo-Soul genre? I venture to say that there are many like me who never knew Neo-Soul existed or what it was. And now hearing about it, many of us may check out this genre to see what all the hubbub is about. Some may actually like this style. So shining even a negative light on Neo-Soul may increase it's popularity.

I'd wager about 35 percent of the posters here have a PRS or JAMES TYLER GUITAR and a pinstripe suit someplace in their home. Those that don't, wish they did. I get D'Angelo vibes from most of these people.

some cool melodies in there.

very soft compared to some of their other stuff of course.

I like the one before this, “hurt people, hurt people”.

More importantly, yes, anything other than lame neo-soul jokes or Tyler or whatever. It’s not funny and is ruining this place.

For some reason, this song reminds me of a much better song

Man I was pretty obsessed with Soilwork around the time this came out. Had to sit down and learn a ton of their stuff

I remember that video was the first time I ever saw Caparison guitars 🥰

I liked Stabbing the Drama more than Figure tbh

I also kind of stopped really paying attention to them after Sworn to a Great Divide when Ola left the band though I did see them live one final time shortly after that with the new guitarist and he did great. I remember he was playing Peavey HP's
