It was ok. Doesn't make me feel like wow, I need to hear the rest of the album....ymmv
I will now go back and watch Victim's cover of You Can't Kill Rock and Roll again....

Lmao! Thanks man!

Definitely not something I see us adding to the set list. But I have seen a few people requesting it on out Social Media pages.

I heard that song the other day and really dig it! The verses and pre chorus reminds me of Randy-era Ozzy or even a Jake-era feel. The only thing I don't care for is the distorted guitar in the chorus. Sounds like a guitar part you would hear on an Rob Zombie song. I like the feel of the song with the creepy graveyard theme and the flow, etc. I like the reverb on the vocals, etc. too.

This to me is better than the "Let me Hear You Scream" kind of stuff. With 80s type guitar parts, I think this would smoke.

It was ok to me. Rehashed but god he really can’t put out anything mind blowing after all these years.
At least for me.
I just listen to his early stuff.
Up to No More Tears. And I’m cool with that. :D

Nothing to hate about anything Ozzy imo, but Oz and Zakk both peaked on No More Tears... still wish he would do an album with Jake again.

I actually think they peaked at NRFTW, and NMT was the beginning of the end.
New song? ... Hell I dunno. Old man still brings it, for a dude his age. I ain’t buying it. Or the new Tool.

Guitars sounded kinda bad, but the song composition and singing seemed surprising strong. I liked it.

That is exactly what I was feeling with that song. Those parts seemed to stand out and felt "classic" to me for some reason. Agree with the guitars. This is a guitar forum and I'd I'm sure I can speak for the group when I say that the guitars sucked ass.

I guess there are either no Sabbath fans here, or you just can't hear the similarity to SBS and Sabotage albums?
I think it's the best stuff he's put out in many many years.
If the whole album sounds like this, it will be great.

from a vocal melody point of view then yes it does channel mid/late sabbath but IMO the guitars are there purely as a backing instrument instead of being upfront like Ozzy is known for. He use to find killer plays who wrote great riffs/songs...this just sounds like they are there just because they "need' to be. Having said that I don't mind the song but it doesn't make me want to rush out and hear the rest of the album ... but if I'm honest then of course I will do just that hahahaha

It's Ozzy... he is old... hard life is an understatement... what did y'all expect? He is the god-father of metal. He can do anything he wants at this point. Butt-kazoo on the commode is fine by me. People will still buy it.
