the gain is much better on the wicked 8 on the recording for sure. I need to up the gain to make up for the lighter gain on the PAF for sure. The whole point was, and I told @braintheory I would do this...I did not touch mic position, amp settings, etc. and just made same clips.They both have elements that I like.

Yes. For sure. The gain sounded very weak. I actually started playing and reEQing a little. I turned up the preamp gain, and it was heavenly. But I got a work call and so I will have to fuck around later. But I love the pup.

Yeah. I thought the same thing in the clips. But man. This thing fucking kills in the room. I think in the clips you can hear the palm mutes are nasty with the PAF. With the EQ adjusted, I am sure the PAF will kick ass for you guys, too.I'm with Lisa on this, I prefer the wicked 8
