New Saxon tune "Medusa"

Biff Byford still has the vocals to front this band

He’s one of the founding members, and has been doing this since the mid 70’s.

That’s longevity.

I somehow got a cassete from them in 1985. Rock the Nations, if i'm not mistaken...Went on to heavier stuff soon after.
I listened to the first track out of nostalgia. The track that comes after the one you posted i like much better. Reminded me a bit of Carcass/Heartwork, lol.

That was OK, which honestly put it in like the top 5% of all videos posted or something.

I always liked Saxon even if they never did anything super exciting.

Apart from the bass player who I couldn’t get a good look at I actually appreciate that they’re a bunch of old geezer’s. It makes them so much more like a real band. Is that Nigel on the drums? It’s always funky when you have one old legend who puts a young band around them to tour and scrape together some money. I’d say the only guy I’ve seen tour where it doesn’t bug me is Alice Cooper.

I was listening to it when I saw your post. Not bad. Loved the riffs and was banging my head on the first listening. Biff sounds good on that track.

That gives me hope when I see over 70s dudes still rockin'!
