as far as looks go...i don't like any of their headstocks...or their guitars for that matter.

if they stick with that, sales will drop at least 15%.

That 15% must not dig the guitar then if a headstock changes their buying habits

well, if looks aren't a factor, then how come every b.c. rich, moser, rico jr., uberpointy pointy gets dissed here? that's like saying you're not vain while you look in the mirror. everybody cares what a guitar looks like to some degree. maybe not so much if you don't play out (no offense cuz i'm pretty sure you don't) which would be a factor but still...it prolly wouldn't be your fave.

It's the Landau headstock.

Nothing is changing on the standard and customs.

I'm a Suhr fan but THAT is the butt ugliest headstock I have ever seen and I would not own a guitar with that headstock , period. Did they need a new headstock? Was Gibson going after them for violating a Kramer trademark or something?

I like Tyler headstocks. I like the old Suhr headstock. I'm fairly reasonable about headstocks, but this new Suhr one, the Caparison one, the newer Wayne elf shoe headstock, and the 2 new GMW's just suck, plain and simple.

The Tyler headstocks grew on me. Too bad the necks are massive!

I love the Vigier headstock though. It looks very "natural," if you know what I mean.

the neck on my tyler is very normal compared to some of the newer models i've played. you'd dig mine bro.

i'm with chubmaster on this...the newer gmw and caparison jobs are like homo letter openers.
and this new suhr sorta looks like a big toe. the old headstock is way more comfortable on the eyes. but that one always reminded me of carvin headstocks.
