I'm a Suhr fan but THAT is the butt ugliest headstock I have ever seen and I would not own a guitar with that headstock , period. Did they need a new headstock? Was Gibson going after them for violating a Kramer trademark or something?

I like Tyler headstocks. I like the old Suhr headstock. I'm fairly reasonable about headstocks, but this new Suhr one, the Caparison one, the newer Wayne elf shoe headstock, and the 2 new GMW's just suck, plain and simple.
The Tyler headstocks grew on me. Too bad the necks are massive! :scared:

I love the Vigier headstock though. It looks very "natural," if you know what I mean.

You know people say that about Tyler necks Im sure there one out there that are. But you know mine isnt bigger than any I've played and have played much bigger. Mines really comfortable and this coming from someone who's favorite neck size and profile is a Ernie Ball Axis. Thats a small neck.

Cause guitar play different.

So the only guitar on planet earth you are able to find that plays great is that Suhr with the chub headstock? Yeah, right.

That headstock is terrible, and I honestly have to agree that it may detract from sales. There are just too many options for people not to be 100% satisfied with every part of their axe.

It`s too big compared to the body. If it was shrunk by 10%, it would look much better. I`d still play it though, it`s probably not as neck-heavy as the head implies.

It´s not replacing the other headstock, this will be an option on the Suhr Classic guitars and as it was designed and approved by Mike Landau, I bet plenty of fan-boys will be getting one.

Oh, I also think it´s butt ugly and it looks like the Melancon headstock.

Not of fan of any suhr headstock, but I'm sure the playability would make up for it

Thats just 1 step below the Tyler headstocks, which are possibly the fugliest things I've ever seen

Telephant must've unvieled some of teh top secret stuff :scared:

He's in teh big trouble now I bet :gethim:

I doubt they were in violation of the Kramer headstock...Kramer went belly up. But then again I don't know what Gibson owns in rights? They haven't reissued that headstock....Gibson is sue happy though.

It's not the "new" Suhr headstock.

It's the Landau headstock.

Nothing is changing on the standard and customs.

Stop being stupid.
