New to forum need a little help

Thanks for the warm welcome:p
Just was hoping to buy this amp I've been looking for and a Google search led me here.
Can't DM the seller -not allowed to yet.
Read the rules would rather not have to jump through the 50 messages hoops issue just to buy an amp.
I get it you have rules
It's been on here since last year probably because its a local sale only so maybe the guy might be happy that there is a potential buyer that is local to him.
If you want to know about me Here you go:
63 year old plumber playing over 40 years
Have way too much gear including Wizards,Komets,Aiken Matchless,Divided by 13,Marshall,Kelley
Prefer Lp style guitars with a Marshall type amp and a cord and volume -play mostly 70s based bluesy riff rock type of stuff
My name is Paul my teacher/best buddy Mark Hitt started calling me Paquale which morphed into Squally.
Bottomline is I'd like to buy the amp off the guy so if someone would help that would be great and your long time member in good standing may be happy that he sold the amp finally
thank you
Well on your way to 50 posts. If it’s been there a year you probably won’t lose it.

48 to go 🤷‍♂️

Welcome! Post up some great gear pics! You’ll get the posts eventually. If it’s a local sale then even more reason to follow through, not like you have anything to lose unless the person selling it is no longer active.

He did use the past tense “was”. That means a learning curve could be in play.

@Squally So a few problems with the Gear page are, in my opinion; it’s too big and hard to control the masses of people and ideas so banning and mind control occurs. It’s fine I guess, just not my thing. Lots of clicky folks there. Too many people make it messy with people trying scammy stuff as well- easier to sneak in and scam. The difference between RT and TGP is boutique gathering vs an all out rager party. Point is; most folks here at RT look out for the “wedding crashers”. I’d say you are more than welcome here. It takes a while to become known but as in every relationship, first impressions/introduced-> interactions over time-> part of the crowd. My two sense.

Along with 50 posts you have to send feet pics to @Techdeth and go weekend camping with @JackBootedThug
SHHHHHHHHH…..

You look on facebook marketplace, reverb and/or craigslist? If he's local he's probably got it listed locally.

I would suggest a cameron or larry thread
Maybe @Squally (paul) wants a Larry or a Cameron. Wait.. those would be gone within the hour of posting and not last a year on the market.
I just planted a seed in your mind Paul…. “Larry?” “I need one of those….
precious”.

Just get a Cameron modded Larry and send it to Freidman to tweak so Ceriatone can then copy that and have Billy Blades provide the headshell with the cup holder mod.
