I’ve listened to Jorn for 20+ years. He’s a great singer.
LOL - yeah I guess I mean I always dug when he would use some other sounds like on the Sabbath Bloody Sabbath record or Master of Reality or Planet Caravan etc. Kinda feel his best tone ever was on the first 2 albums as well. I know everyone changes and people get bored of sounds. It happens to everyone except the Young brothers ha!I definitely don't care what you think. Lol, just kidding. I know what you mean. Everything is thick and over the top gain wise.
One of my fav amps I ever had was a Laney PT50. Pre AOR era. Was killer. The laney Iommi sig is one of the greatest sleeper amps of all time
That entire laney product lineup from the mid 90s to the 2010s was out of control underrated, and they have some really great amps even today
Both the laney AOR and GH series amps are really close to a modded 2203, as well, and back in the day they were one of my go to "I have no money but need a 2203 tone" moves

I just meant that there's a clear tonal delineation from the fuzzed out treble booster supergroup era with ozzy to dio and post dio which are more chuggy tight tones, and people sleep on all the tighter iommi tones
I don't understand complaining on his solos.
Loudest amp I ever had and briefly owned. Got it around 2001 if I remember correctly. Stadium amp, too loud for my house back then. The laney Iommi sig is one of the greatest sleeper amps of all time

Me too!!! Huge fan!!! Been listening to him since 1994 when he started his career with Vagabond with Ronni LeTekro and Morty Black from TNT. Seen him in NorwayI’ve listened to Jorn for 20+ years. He’s a great singer.
I really dig this and guys has a DIO feel but deeper voice with the singing:
Tony's tones on the Heaven and Hell album are just sick...
I always give Tony a pass on his lead playing because I can imagine after losing the tips of his middle and ring fingers on his right hand it had to have a huge impact and effect in the way he plays and even though he's no Randy Rhoads or Jake E Lee or whoever his leads are always identifiable when I hear him play. They are basic pentatonic wanking which pales in comparison to the godly level of his riffs. Which are super memorable and always well thought out
