I just did one of these rare "NGD" with a Suhr Thornley Roughneck. I wanted that guitar for a good while, and was sooooo stoked to get it.
In the process of selling guitars to recoup $ and space after purchasing the Suhr, I ended up acquiring this guitar.
I never ever would've looked to buy this guitar. Not even a blip on the radar. Ended up grabbing it in a trade deal. Figured, why not, easy flip.
Duuuuude, I LOVE this guitar!!! Hate to say it, but more than the Suhr. It's me, to a T.
I feel like the universe has granted me a gift. I paid $$$ for it. But I'm bonding with it so hard. Ever have that instant "this guitar is mine" moment? Can't believe it's a freaking PRS. Ugh. Whatever, I love it.
I have the notion to put jumbo frets on it and keep it forever.

Well, I did say, have the notion. It doesn't need it.

I did it to my #1 forever, 02 LP Classic. And I really like how it turned out. I imagine it would make this guitar even more badass.

I believe they're the HFS/VB set. Def has some chonk.
The neck pup is delightful. Lots of folks dont like the HFS for whatever reason, but love for the VB is unanimous.

Just made this to compare with the Suhr Thornley Roughneck. PRS has dead strings, but still sounds good, I think.

Those both sound fantastic. Looks like you made some good choices on your recent purchases!

Those are actually my favorite pickups they've ever made, and I've had all of them. They nailed it pretty much out of the gate.

That's what happened to me! Was doing some guitar flipping and originally was going to keep it going with a PRS I got for a crazy deal and then..... I knew I couldnt let it go - especially for the small amount I had invested out-of-pocket due to the prior flipping. I have never bonded with a PRS, but this one was instant.

Let's see it!
