Played it a bit more through the Herbert last night. I actually love the Blackhawks: they don't have the high-end sizzle of the Nailbombs/Aftermaths in my PRS's (which is also down to the lack of a maple top on the BM), but the whole guitar has a resonance, directness and clarity that is chest-punchingly good.

After playing this for a few days, I have only one opinion: BELIEVE THE HYPE. It's the nicest playing guitar I have ever used. The only 25.5" comparator I have (normally I use 25" or 24.5" guitars) is my old Suhr GG, and this walks all over that (before anyone pipes up, I know Suhr make great guitars, but the one I had was undefined, muddy and brittle).
I'm frankly staggered how something so thin can produce so much low-end and definition.

Beautiful - LOVE the ebony B2 in particular.
Is this going to turn into a Blackmachine love-fest? Thankfully the mods here won't shut it down, unlike other forums I know (*cough cough SS.org cough cough*).
I really, really want a B2.
