I've got one of those double cut LP specials, and it rips!
Mine doesn't have that cool sparkle finish, but it might be the best playing guitar i own.
I would also suggest if you don't jive with the p90, Dimarzio makes a great p90 shape version of the Tone Zone and Super D.
If the guitar is bass light, go TZ, otherwise Super D.
Mine was thin sounding, so I went TZ, and it kills.
