Killer  The only thing that would make it better is if it had a reverse headstock

gorgeous, congrats man. I want one of those badly, and that's exactly the model I was looking at.

Damn that looks fantastic. I loved it when you posted a pic of this on that Suhr topic saying you liked this better, and I do too. I came across Atlas probably two years ago when I was looking at any/all custom guitar websites back then. I always have been wanting one of those Uranus's (no longer on the website though :( ). I have done a lot trying to FIND BAD comments/experiences on them, and I can not find ANY at ALL!!

Yeah man, I haven't heard anything bad either and I can't see why anyone would say anything bad if all of their guitars are this nice. The guy I got it from (parntz145) also has two of their Les Paul style modes for sale now too. I think one is listed in the classifieds forum and the other is a black flame or quilt LP model.

man that is one of the best looking Atlas's I have seen! Looks awesome!

I have one and its a great sounding guitar.. i like the pups in it andthe feel is there. I took a chance too and its a great product.

Beatiful top, are the frets stainless? Was it Plek'd?

I don't think they're stainless, but that's probably an option. No idea if it was Plek'd.

So, what's the deal with Atlas. They say they've been making guitars since 1962? Are we talking about some Brits who moved there and set up shop?

That one looks killer as well. I'm not sure of all their history and such, but I'll try to find out.

Thanks!!

How do you like the pups in the guitar? Mine are hotter than the rest of my guitars with good definition. I haven't touched anything except the action since I got it.

I love the pickups. I've tried the guitar in standard and B tuning and it sounds awesome in both. Like you said, nice and hot but still very clear and really lively sounding.

Cool clip by the way.

Hey Dan, here's some info...

"Hi Mark,
Guitars are made in Thailand by personal friend of mine.
Totally hand made by 3 brothers and their father.
Absolutely no CNC machines used. It takes many months to build a custom guitar this way.
I recently spent 5 weeks visiting out there and seeing how they work never fails to amaze me.

I highly doubt it was Plek'd. There are only a few builders in the US even who have a Plek machine (Suhr, G&L come to mind immediately, a couple other luthiers as well).

I'm in contact with Paul now, really considering pulling the trigger! If this guitar turns out to be better than my Suhr, I'm probably gonna let my Suhr go :scared:
