Let's try this in the right forum this time, the internet is hard,LoL

I've been wanting one of these for a while, but didn't want to shell.out the cash based on my recent experience with MIM Charvels over the the last several years. That said, I knew these were different spec and used better woods. First, these are in a different league than the standard MIM pro mod. The have a custom neck profile that is thinner, has more shoulders and the edges are rolled smooth like butter. They use quarter sawn maple as well. They have the dinky body that shifts the neck placement and makes it he guitar feel more comfortable and compact. The setup on this thing is great too. And I got it for cheaper than a new Standard MIM

Congrats! I may have to pickup a charvel to go with all my les pauls and sg's.

Tsssssss feel the bite! What model floyd is that on there?
Pretty sure it's a 1000 series. The main difference between those and the German one are the fine timers aren't as smooth and the arm coupler isn't as good. New brass fine tuners and a German coupler and it's hard to tell the difference.

Looks great.

So stupid question how do you remove the fine tuners on a floyd without cutting them since the metal at the end of the screws is flared?

So how's the RTM compare to the I think it was the WD40 you were working on or have you gotten to doing those yet?

Just get some pliers. They're played brass, so the treads will give before the plate nthe down side is that the replacememt brass screws can actually be backed out to much and be lost, but they're so much smoother.

Since I've sold exactly zero WD Forte' and haven't updated my website with it or even the Psykes for that matter, ? I am likely going to modify my original design do something closer to this wind with an A2. I just need try it with an A2 and go from there. A2 magnets adds more inductance to a pickup than A5. That's why A2s have a more saturated feel than A5. So, I suspect it'll be a number of winds difference and a magnet swap. I really like this wind pattern

Uh, what??

You can NEVER have enough Charvels. :giggle:

Congrats, looks killer. I had a 2006 pointy reissue copperhead that was very cool. Got a ton of questions, 10 yrs ago when I gigged it. Was a little stiff playing compared to the pro mods but had killer tone.

I've played one of those and it was fantastic.

I have the Blood and Skull MIM model, and it's a killer guitar. Quality seems much better than the regular MIMs

Never played one - but really stoked to read your thoughts on build quality. I also had read that these were noticeably better than the run-o-the-mill MIM San Dimas Style guitar.

How's the action with a flush mounted floyd? Is the neck angled to get a lower action on higher frets?

Interestingly I can't say the same about the satchel I owned or any Ive played though

The neck pocket has a slight angle. I'm at 1/16 right now from the top of the last fret and the strings at the 22nd fret I could go lower, but that's the sweet spot for me

Flip that Vinyl and play "What you give is what you get." haha I have it on vinyl as well. Is that an RT84/5 in the background?

Oh, I hate you! ? I want one of those so bad.

Congrats, killer guitar.

Nice! Congrats. They are such great guitars I miss mine!
