Awesome, congrats!! Looks killer, how does the neck feel anything to compare the neck to?

i would kind of compare it to a cross between a charvel and the les paul 60s thinner more playable necks, a real pleasure to play.

So, after playing this guitar for a few weeks, I’ve got to say it’s a big winner. It plays soooo nice. It’s bordering on super Strat levels of effortless, but with singlecut tones that are punchy, yet well defined, and thick yet articulate. Just a killer guitar. I wanted to try a Knaggs singlecut without their bridge. They sounded thin and tinny to me, and played ok. I had a couple Kenai and a Doug Rappaport. All three were kind of the same, and I assume that a lot has to do with that bridge. This Steckel SLAYS all of them.

I figured I would keep it for a week or two and then trade or sell it for a super Strat. I can’t part with it yet. Too much fun. Although, I don’t like not having an effortless playing super Strat, this soothes the pain and withdrawal. Knaggs and Steckel hit it out of the park with this guitar. And, it looks super Bitchin also!

I have a couple, to me it's in between a smaller 59 neck and a 58. has a decent shoulder but not like a 58. it's chunky but not obscene.
nice looking top on the one you got.

Damn, you just casually bought a 6 thousand dollar guitar online because you "just had to try it"?!

Epic!!

Looks badass :inlove:

I wish man!! Traded for it!!

After playing this further, I can say this is a winner in every way. I was put off of Knaggs after a couple Kenai and a Doug Rappaport, but perhaps the bridge is the factor that makes this an incredible guitar. I keep saying I am going to post it for trade because I don’t have a super Strat currently,,but I keep playing it and putting off posting it. It’s reached the point that letting it go will be a huge bummer. It plays very easily, and sounds great.

If any of you guys are mainly singlecut players, you should try the Steckel with the bridge that’s on this one. I have seen some different bridges on Steckels. I didn’t like the other Knaggs I’ve played. If all the steckels are like this, they rule. Try them out guys.
