Ya know Tom, i have tried so many modern Dimarzios.. and these old 70's ones sound very different to the PAF's they make now! The bridge pickup probably wont stay, but the neck pickup might.. its smooth![]()

Yeah it will be fitted with 6100's like yours, and i also want a new nut fitted too. Other than that, i may buy a Suhr Aldrich bridge humbucker, but the neck humbucker in this guitar is nice enough to leave inSounds so smooth with the tone pot rolled back!!!

"If it reads about 8K and has 6 slotted and 6 solid polepieces, it’s a DiMarzio PAF (DP103). If it has 12 hex polepieces, it’s a Super 2 (DP104). If it has 12 solid polepieces, it’s a K-10, which is functionally similar to a Super 2."
How's that for a response on a Sunday night.![]()

One other thing you might want to consider upgrading on the LP is to a TonePros tail piece and bridge. I upgraded on all 4 of my LP solid body's and every time noticed a good improvement on holding intonation, tuning and sustain.
