I don't think so - I usually aways use alder body's which seem pretty consistant regardless if it's a strat or tele, even when the strat is routed with a pickguard.

yeah, I'm using the Duncan Custom in all my guitars right now - it's a good balance of a nice warm tone but still has the aggressiveness of a ceramic.

Have any of you guys seen the prices on some of the squire affinity and other budget strats? I'm starting to think new pups, neck, maybe a trem and you are still well into budget country. Will warmoth necks fit squire bodies?

I just ordered a Squier Vintage Modified 70's Strat yesterday (as you can see, I follow my own advices ) because I wanted a vintage white / creme body. Warmoth necks do fit Squier bodies (or else I'm fucked )

I had a look at this one based on what you just wrote. I think this bad boy will be in my future purchases as well. I could use a Blackmore/malmsteen inspired axe. Love the color and big headstock. Maybe swap out the bridge for something a little beefier but that's it. These budget guitars are getting better and better.

I think I might try a scalloped Warmoth neck with this one, just to try it out
I was also thinking of getting a Gotoh Vintage trem and pickups of course (shout out ot drewiv )
Ordered it from Axe Music, I love these guys, but the Warehouse is soooo sloooww to ship orders

Good thing is that the website shows if the item is in stock or not
I guess it takes about one week to leave the warehouse and another week or so to get to your place.
Items that don't require setups will probably leave faster
