I had a really slick relic Von K Tele and had to sell it about 9 or 10 months ago and I didn't wanna, but I had to free up some $$$. I happened across this on FB Marketplace a few days ago and went to meet up with him today.

It's an MJT body with a Warmoth neck. It has an old Original Floyd, a big brass block, a D Tuna and a JB in the bridge with I think he said a Hot Stack in the neck. The frets don't feel sharp on the edges but they definitely don't seem like the fat, jumbo frets so many guitars use today. They seem a bit skinnier, but that's fine with me. More room to squeeze my fingers in to shred out some notes! Eventually, at some point today, I'll have time to tear it apart, check the frets for high spots or anything, double check the legitimacy of the pickup models, and then restring it and play it. I just stole his pics from the ad and uploaded them. Enjoy!

Yeah, it's the quarter. I don't like the strap eye bolts though. My caliper is in storage, so I may just find a drill bit that's just a smidge bigger, drill it out just a bit, and then get a dowel for that and fill it in. I haven't removed them yet so I don't know if the ol' toothpicks and woodglue thing will work here, but we'll see.

I like how he screwed a spark plug gap adjustment tool to the guitar but what really sets that thing on fire is the full size toggeL switch. Congrats Matt. I guess this means you are readying your gear to dominate the next neo soul competition. Good luck sir.:salute:

Also, I'm probably going to do another Strat build with an MJT body and probably grab a used Warmoth or Musikraft neck and pop on my pickups, wiring harness, and grab a nice tremolo.

Also, this fretboard needs a drink! This thing is uber dry. Luckily, I didn't find any notes that buzzed or farted out during a bend. Once I get it setup to my liking, I'll see if there's any buzzing, but it seems pretty solid so far. I'll have to see about adding a trem arm housing kit with the thread on collar. This is just a press in/tighten kind of fitting, and it's a bit loose anyway. It'll be a fun toy.
