doesnt have locking nut either.
I'm not a fan of Floyd's either. If it's flat against the guitar, then I just load up springs so it's basically a hard tail. This one is floating, so I put in the Tremol-no and tightened the shit out of it so it's basically fixed.

I will say Floyds feel great on my picking hand though.

I think they feel kind of unnatural, on my picking hand, honestly

I think the only way I could ever deal with a strat style guitar is in a situation like that where you have a regular nut etc

Such a rad guitar

Awesome! I have five Andersons and am looking to spec and buy a new one in June. My wife and I are vacationing in LA and going to stop by the Anderson shop for a tour. She wants me to spec it at the shop. I have a pretty amazing wife!

Yep. I pretty much know what I am going to get. Seriously, I can't wait. I am pretty good friends with Tom's new partner, Markus. We worked in tech a would meet for dinner when I would go to San Francisco on business trips. When Tom decides to retire someday, there will not be a better person to keep the Anderson tradition strong than Markus.

Markus is a good dude.

Saw this on Reverb and then found it on TGP at a cheaper price. Got a decent offer on it. It arrived last week and been spending some time with it before posting to get past the initial lust and see if I really might love it.

The seller installed a Dimarzio AT and a single coil. I swapped those out and put a Bare Knuckle Painkiller in the Bridge and a Dimarzio Air Norton S in the neck. Installed a Tremol-No to lock the bridge down. Gave it a good cleaning and set it up to my liking.

I am in love. It's very light, almost plays itself. It's a fun guitar to play.

I want your basement. Tons of cool sh*t in there. Well done!

Following up...I don't mean to hijack your thread but..... Seeing as I'm a member here now, I'm sure my dumb ass will begin to acquire more amps that I never play and play poorly. What is the recommendation for stacking amps shelving wise? Something affordable, but doesn't look like crap. Yours seems to be some sort of simple metal rack? Looks fine to me.

Plenty of options on Amazon, Home Depot, etc…
I measure my largest amp and tried to get a cabinet with solid shelves (not wiring) that is just a hair larger than the largest head.

I had large shelves but they took up too much space, so I moved them to the garage and bought these 12x30x60

Nice! Thank you!

Follow up question if I may. Any reason to not use a tight metal mesh or something?

Because the rubber feet on the heads can fall through or bend making the amp sit cockeyed. So solid seems to work better and feels more sturdy. But the mesh will work too, I used to have ones like that.

Thanks! I just went with your rec. from Amazon. Arrives in a few days.
