Got my very first Tom Anderson on trade here. I think this guitar has been around to a few members, but it's MINE NOW, bwahahah.
It arrived about a week ago. Been playing it almost every day. It feels and plays amazing.
- 24.75" scale length - I LOVE the shorter scale length guitars. I went through phases all the way out to 28 inch guitars and in the end, I love shorter scale length by far.
- TA H2+ and H1- pickups. Sounds great. The H1- sounds great in the neck. The H2+ in the bridge is a well balanced great sounding pickup, not harsh, no spikes, kind of rounded fullness. I like it, but I like something hotter with more edge/sizzle. I contacted TA and he recommended the HF3+ so I ordered one and it's arriving later today (Project time!!).
Anyway, I'm not going to go into comparing with Suhr's, etc...but just to say it plays a feels like the world class guitar and it's nearly 20 years old.
