Not very RigTalkish but wtf. I started on acoustic and still love it, especially on Saturday/Sunday mornings. This girl arrived just in time. I've had a few Taylors and never bonded. We'll see on this one but at least the price is right.

how does it sound? it's purdy...
Thanks! Way more full-bodied than I expected. It's got a lot of bottom and top. I usually prefer Rosewood back and sides for that very reason but I'm almost wondering if I would prefer their similar model with Mahogany back and sides. Mahogany is usually more evenly balanced. It projects really well tho, very loud.

That looks great. I have some Taylor GS minis that I play here and there. Really like them but I think something like this would be nice as well.

What's the price point on these ?

Under a grand used and with the nice mfr hard case. Even shipped and PP'd. The lower bout is as wide as a dread but this is not quite as thick as my dread. This isn't scratching my Martin 000 itch tho. I was kind of hoping it would it would but this is pretty 'full sized' in about every way. I keep thinking I'm going to pony up for an old 000-18 but I never do and they just keep going up.

I had a taylor 310 and it was an amazing guitar. Had a bright voicing, but very balanced and beautiful. I have a d18 now, and I love it too. But i miss the brightnesss of the taylor sometimes.

Looks great, ive always been a more martin/gibson acoustic guy but lots of my favorite players play taylor style acoustics.

Congrats man

I have a slight Django Reinhardt streak in me and he played those Selmers with cutaways. So he went way up the neck all the time and playing that stuff with a dreadnaught was getting old.
