did you decide? may want to add coil splitting?

I haven't tried these pickups, but the prices are good, and they have various replacement wiring harnesses too; their plug/adapter system makes swapping pickups with minimal/no soldering easier:

I have looked at those for years. I think I'll leave a hb in the bridge and go with a nice single in the neck....Kinda make into the mullet of electric guitars....party in the back and business up front...a veritable Kentucky waterfall if you will.....
