Looks great! Congratulations on a killer guitar. Personally, I like the standard body shape better than the modern. I like the modern too but I guess I am just a bit more traditional.

My thoughts as well.

As for the EMG swapout, I think any tabless single coils should work. If there is a "gotta have it" model that has tabs, you could ask to have tabless versions built for you...Lindy Fralin did this for me a while back.
