Had 3 New Guitar Days this week! I won the auction for a Randy Rhoads polka dot Flying V but I also picked up these 2 beauties. ESP Eclipse II Vintage White and Charvel Wild Card #7. I'm in an Ozzy tribute and these three guitar purchases will fit the bill nicely. Especially excited about the Charvel. It's my first one ever and I've wanted one since I was a kid and first started playing guitar. Warren DiMartini and Jake E Lee where heroes of mine who played Charvel's. So an especially happy NGD owner.

Thanks! The Rhoads polka dot flying V will be here Thursday and I'll post a pic of it when it comes in. I'm digging both guitars. The ESP is killer and has a nice Randy Rhoads Les Paul vibe look to it. I have a LTD Eclipse Deluxe with a Floyd Rose that I've been using mainly and will keep using for songs with heavy whammy in it like Over the Mountain but will probably use this for other tunes like I Don't Know, Crazy Train and Flying High. I'm loving this Charvel though. I really wanted one that was similar to the blue Charvel Jake E. Lee used on The Ultimate Sin Tour. This was about the closest one I found. Amazing neck on it. Playing a benefit tomorrow afternoon with the Ozzy tribute so I'm going to throw it into the rotation for its first show. Only Jake era tunes shall be played on the Charvel. So let it be written so let it be done. :rock:
 
Did you pick up the grey charvel at TME? I just picked up my Marshall fridge from them!
 
Vintage white / creme is one of my favourite fnishes, didn't even know ESP had that finish available for the Eclipse

It's a discontinued color. It was available a few years ago but not anymore. I scored this one off of a local guy on Craigslist.
 
knew it!! it's been hanging on the wall for a while and I have come close to pulling the trigger multiple times on it! think I am about to grab that Edwards Super Strat with the Floyd they have hanging on the wall tomorrow man...

Good grab. That has some mojo to it for sure.
 
Great minds think alike! Ya, I've been eying it for awhile too and I've been wanting a Charvel for so long. I called them Thursday night to see if it was still there and it was so they held it for me till Friday morning. Love this guitar. They have a lot of really choice guitar's there. Great staff too.

Are you getting a Sandovol PDV? I had a Jackson Tribute PD Roundhorn V for a while, great guitar and kind of miss it but I wasn't a big fan of V shapes so I only played it whed I was covering RR stuff lol.

Ya know I actually have no clue who it's made by but yes it is a replica of Randy's Sandoval PDV. And I hate V's! Lol! I say that but I have never actually owned one. Lol! I'm mainly buying it just to have it. I've been on a quest the last few years to collect the guitars of my heroes as a kid. And with the purchase of this Charvel and the V that pretty much completes my quest. Except for a black David Gilmour Strat. That's still on the list. Here's pic of my guitar family.

It plays like butter. Great guitar. Wish it had 24 frets though. Only has 22. So I played the Charvel yesterday with my Ozzy tribute at a benefit. Love the guitar do not like the PUP's. Noticed a huge difference in tone when I switched to it. I think I'm going to stick EMG's in it. All my other guitars I use in the Ozzy tribute have EMG's.
