How is everyone's experience with noiseless springs? (I'm thinking of ordering from FU Tone)

Have one guitar that sounds horrible, other one not so bad but thinking of buying two sets. They have two kinds the regular black set, and the heavy duty red ones. Don't really like the red color, but how was your experience between the two if you had both?

I do 10-46 in Eb mostly, sometimes standard. I use a tremolo stopper in the center so if the heavy duty works it would be nice to just run two from the corners leaving the middle open.

Otherwise I might just try the clear rubber tube from Home Depot method see how that works first.

The should be called lessnoise, because then aren't 100% noiseless, but well worth the price. You can get them off amazon as well. The red is a shorter spring. I use a red in the center/straight, and 2 blacks on the outside at an angle

If you are having spring noise, a bit of heat shrink tubing, slightly warmed but still moveable over the spring works perfectly with no noise.

A strip of foam from a pickup package pushed into the center of a spring and jammed in until it's a scrunched ball in the approximate middle of it kills most of the noise and allows for unimpeeded movement.

...a pain in the ass to find the right size, but a rubber band pushed through the full length of the spring works as well.

Aquarium tubing or surgical tubing in the spring works also
