Yep. That's how it sounded to me as well.

You've got me second guessing the set I have for sale. I have never tried them. They came with a guitar that the original owner swapped out.

They lithiums are not bad at all. They hang well with just about any pickup I've put them against. Yes they were all in different guitars so it's not an exact comparison, but they're definitely not a "Get these things out of my guitar" pickup. Also, quite possibly the best clean pickup I've heard (not like anyone cares about cleans )
