NOS LINE 6 X3 PRO...

i got a chance to get one brand new.old stock,never sold at a music store.mint condition.i dont really get into modeling.was planning on just using it for fx.
buying a GCP and using it in a live rig.

your thoughts on these units please.

IMO, It's OK for recording. Kinda hard to dial in, but capable of decent sounds if you're patient. As for live or jamming use, I'd pass.

The X3 pro's are the preamp side of a vetta II. Run it through a tubed poweramp and you're golden for live use. The effects are great too.
