New Mic Preamp Day... The Warm Audio "Tone Beast"

Been waiting for this puppy to roll on in all week... Great Pre for the money, you cant do better IMO for the coin.

Lots of features and options for different styles and instruments.

Going to put her to use this weekend and track some clippage...

I haven't seen these before. I watched some of the videos and it seems to be pretty awesome. A lot of features and quality parts for the price point.

It has an additional mic input transformer so you can switch between steel and nickel core for color. Sweet find dude. I need one.

I did some experimenting today with cabs and mics and I love this thing. Lots of preamp gain pumping into protools. I ran my bass in the Di and it was killer too. Sounds really punchy and warms up if needed. This is a great all arounder.
