HAGEN REVIEW - about 30 hours in...

Can the loops be foot switchable? And can they be
Midi switchable?
There's a switchable serial loop for on/off. The parallel is always on, and there's another serial that's always on. You can use the Diezel proprietary footswitch (Columbus), or go MIDI with something like the GCP. I'm setting a TimeFactor up in the P-loop so that I can control it remotely. Reverb's in the switchable serial loop, so that's an easy MIDI function to on/off.

Mo

Gentlemen,

You know I´m not a poser if it comes to my own products.

But we got 3 reviews on 3 different guitar magazines
in Germany. Everybody was raving about the clean
channel on the Hagen. So I would say it´s not this
bad.

Anyway, it´s a matter of taste and You know that
a good clean channel depends mainly on the guitar.
It´s not easy to find the right spot during the design
between the midrange accentuated, sometimes muddy
high gain humbuckers in a mahagony guitar and the
trebly strat types.

Please share a beer now and start comparing

Peace,
Peter

How about, please share a beer now and STOP COMPLAINING :D

The Hagen's killer guys, and one of the reasons I'm so careful with clips is that I don't want ANYONE making their mind up on this amp through a couple clips - hence the in depth review. It's an incredible sounding amp, and yes, the Clean channel is something altogether fresh and brilliant.

and then the battle between the diezels began...

war of the diezels
Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, they're all Family man. Just depends what yer looking for. Now there's a new addition to the Diezel lineage and it's up to the player to know whether it's right for him or her or not.

Peace & Peters, it's all good

If you're sorting it out with 'squank', you won't be at all disappointed. This amp's got my No.1 Diezel rating now.

I am happy to say, I've got my two No.1s, my Hagen and my 20thA. Beastly and so fine.

Mo

if i tour again, i may just have to borrow those two, hehehe. the value would go up after i play them , hehehe

Hehehe, got it , hehehe, can we start a Hagen club, members only. Sort of like hair club for men, hehe but female strippers r allowed.
