Nuno Guitar Line Announced...

Sweet!

Wonder if World Music is doing these like the Wylde Audio/Solars?

I dig the idea of guitarists heading off their own line. I know Dimebag was apparently ripped shit pissed with Washburn putting out shitty models which is why he went to Dean, so having these guys have their own brand name likely gives them a lot more control over what’s getting shipped out while still giving them the ability to have the design made by smaller shops if they wanted to do an expensive model, like Ola does with the Euro Solars.

I think his relationship with Washburn has been slowly decreasing since the Randall amp he released back in the mid 2000's. There were tons of tales of reliability and availability issues. I played one back in 2009-ish and it sounded exactly like a DSL with a rat boosting, well, until it quit working mid play. When I informed the guy at the shop that it had sputtered out, he shrugged and commented that it was the second amp they had to send back in two months.

I was also under the understanding that Washburn had exclusive rights to the Stephen's Extended Cutaway system, but from what I am seeing I don't think that is the case. A Nuno guitar without the stephen's system just doesn't seem right, so I am glad they are able to use it on his line.

About 30 years too late...................................especially coming into a soft gear market. They look like they would be a good guitar, but I'm sure he can't price them to compete with Washburn, but who knows???

Washburn is soooo screwed....

He has been their only poster boy for years

also, they will be priced out of most people's reach, like the "young Shredders" he referenced in his IG video

What’s funny is I have never seen anyone play, even Nuno, a N4 or Stephen’s guitar with the extended cutaway in use.

You are not wrong, but I'm sure the hardcore Nuno fans, that are the core market for these, would accept a Nuno guitar without that cutaway. At this point it's just traditional for his guitars to have it.
