OD recommendations

Im looking to add another OD to my collection. Right now Im toying with getting a Maxon OD808, a Fulltone OCD, or possibly a BYOC kit. Any suggestions or recommendations?

The zendrive is great.

I'll use it in front of my Two-rock and it sounds great.
Very violin like,but I also think it has great articulation.
I think you would dig it for a Dumble/Mayer like overdrive...

Fulltone OCD - since I have this little devil, my amp went from "I sound a bit boxy" to "I sound huge". Will bring your amp alive and will cover a lot of ground. I'm thinking about getting another one. One hell of a great piece of gear and everyone in here should have one. I loved my MI Audio Crunchbox but the OCD is superior. Anyway the Crunchbox is more of a distortion than an overdrive. Some great pedals out there, take your time and try' em all.

Whats the Difference between the Xotic BB and the AC. Found a good deal on a used AC .

The AC is more in the vein of a Tubescreamer. It's way more flexible than a typical TS with the tone controls and has extra gain if you want it. Warmer sounding than the BB.

On the cheaper priced side, I just picked up a Danelectro Cool Cat Transparent OD. It's a Timmy clone with a metal case & it's true bypass. This pedal honestly kicks the crap out of my other OD pedals.

Also check out the Danelectro Cool Cat Drive pedal. I saw a comparison video on Youtube with a OCD and they sounded nearly identical. The video is done by germandude (Jack Black) I recomend at least watching the Timmy/Trans OD comparision and the Drive/OCD to see for yourself.

Seriouly? wow thats a drop in price. they go for around $40 .
