It don’t matter who made them . I just thought it was …cheesy . Lol I can’t think of another word . But I love the solos yes . But you’d probably think some of what I think is good is cheesy too . It happens
It’s all subjective and there are bootlegs from the early 80’s out there that clearly demonstrate a wicked clean , precision of technique that you can make an argument that after 1985 , that magic wasn’t quite as potent. The Sweden demos are insane and I just don’t thing he can physically play at that level today and I’ve followed every thing he’s released . Rising force first LP is the pinnacle yngwie . I do have to say the late 90’s/early 2000’s when I watched his soundchecks , he was just ridiculously good .. it’s all up for grabs.. the concerto suite was a peak musical milestone … to be able to play with an orchestra and be dynamic in the performance is huge accomplishment. He also plays different with different line ups .. some of the most musical solos imo were on the Alcatrazz album ..

Will you share a link of which song has the ultimate precision from before he was famous . I do believe you . I just want to hear it and study it

I see what they are saying when it comes to the early work. The live Alcatrazz stuff on youtube is pretty incredible in terms of him seemingly playing with less gain than the later stuff but really digging in and being incredibly precise.

Ding ding ding ding ding! We have a winner. THAT live Alcatrazz tone was for sure the peak tonally. So much less gain and so much clarity and so much fire. AND, we hadn't heard those licks and runs 2700 times already like we had by the mid period albums.

This to me is peak Yngwie:

Yes that right there is a mic drop. Brilliant phrasing, so clean, barely any gain. He was something special. I still think je was the next great one right after evh
