Of course MAGA supports regime change war in Iran, MAGA has always supported war in Iran....right?

You guys just never learn huh. Regime change failed in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and everywhere else you tried it, but for sure it will turn out great this time!

No, not for sure, but it's the best shot we've had in 54 years and I don't see it being helpful for people to pile on and demoralize the military because they can't bring themselves to root for our country while Trump is president.

It's good to have dreams I guess.
I would suggest maybe listening to some news sources other than the ones you are currently listening to. The exiled Iranians in Paris and Europe are working in conjunction with Iranian resistance fighters inside Iran who are dedicating their lives to having a legitimate Iranian republic with free elections. You ought to be rooting for them.

Give me some examples, I'll be happy to check them out.

Thanks man I'll have a look.

However you must agree that this is the direct opposite of what Trump ran on, yes?

I will admit that his distinction between limited military action with clear and defined goals and exit strategies and new wars is dubious. I've said here many times that I wasn't dumb enough to believe campaign rhetoric from Trump or any president. I'm not actually much of a fan of Trump the man, but I have wanted to see Iran get theirs since long before Trump was in politics.

Danno laughed at my post so I'll just say this:

Danno, how does eliminating by far the worst instigator and perpetrator of violence in the ME not result in a much-more-peaceful ME?

I said "the goal is peace". You're criticising the method used to get there. All alternative methods have been attempted for decades and didn't work. Last resort is the least-popular, "violent" one, but sometimes that's what's required when dealing with unhinged, unfettered, persistent-and-relentless terrorists.

No one said it would be easy, but I would think free people everywhere would be supporting it at this point.

I know you (guys) don't watch cable news (YT TV for me) but it is crazy the differences in how Fox and CNN report this news. Granted I was gone all weekend with no TV or news really. So of course I come home and go straight to R-T OTC for the latest news updates

FOX - Shows Iranian people and Iranian supporters all over the world dancing in the street and cheering "USA- USA- USA".
CNN - Trump is an unhinged lunatic war mongered who has no idea what he is doing and has no plan.

don't you have a sheep to comfort you in your time of despair and distress?

Meanwhile just another very normal press conference from the wartime president.

Bro. I know you're a good guy and mean well.
I would simply point out that every single interventionist regime change war in the ME has ended with a failed state or civil war, and generally worse conditions for the civilian population.

They don't have a plan to install someone new, they just killed the religious leader (the president is still alive and a new Ayatollah will be chosen shortly).
They just created a power vacuum with no plan for where to go from there. In virtually every case, a more brutal ruler has stepped in to fill that void.
