Exactly. People will always say “the nazis burned books!” But they will never tell you what books. Magnus was transing ethnic Germans and his “research” was torched.

You mean this Gay Jew here:

Hirschfeld's position, that homosexuality was normal and natural, made him a highly controversial figure at the time, involving him in vigorous debates with other academics, who regarded homosexuality as unnatural and wrong

Yes, that gay Jew. Funny enough I expect to be called a Nazi by a couple of the lefties here for pointing out an actual fact. Then again I am Palestinian so can’t escape being called a Nazi because of Al-Husseini.

I appreciate that. I consider myself American through and through. America gave me a home when no one else would, and I am forever grateful and 1000% loyal to America. Palestine is a lost cause, I accepted defeat long ago. Can’t say the same for others; even non Palestinians are way more invested in the conflict than I am.

We have a lot of problems here in America. I prefer to focus on the issues we have here. Foreign conflicts aren’t my problem.

It’s easy for people, myself included, to make assumptions about conflicts in other places and the people involved in them when in reality we don’t have enough or the right information to have an accurate opinion. And we can tend to assume that everyone involved is the same. I have expressed opinions here which I’m sure are short sighted and inaccurate. Opinions about people and religions that I’m sure don’t accurately represent those groups as a whole. One thing I will say in my defense which is true of me and the vast majority of the conservatives I know. If you come to America and assimilate you are an American regardless of political beliefs or religious beliefs.

Looks like the Kiss logo and the guys in the Ukrainian armed forces have these everywhere and NOBODY in the Dem press says they're Nazis.

So no, not a Nazi...looks like a gay trans Ace Frehley coming back to do some work.
It's a Nazi logo dumbfuck. Deaths head with a SS. Were you born stupid or did you just get knocked silly by sucking too much dick?

I’ve been here since the 80s. America is all I know. I have no desire to step foot in the holy land, let alone anywhere in the Middle East. I only truly feel for the Christians of the region, along with the other ethnic and religious minorities. My family ended up in South America prior to their arrival in America, as did many Arabs who were mostly from a Christian background. The majority of Arabs in America are actually Christian, not Muslim. The Muslims people in America see are typically Pakistani, afghan or Indian Muslim. Most people here in America do not realize that there are Arab Christians, even though the levant is the birth place of Christianity. Understanding of religion and even geography isn’t the average American’s strong suit. Most can agree.

There is a Lebanese Maronite Catholic Church not even 5 minutes away from me. The hymns are typically done in Syriac. My city has a decent Christian Arab population.

... which is why the Nazis killed gays, trannies, Jews, and any other deviant group or those with a higher rate of genetic diseases or disorders.

For all anyone knows he got it to piss off Nazis... or was just a straight up psychopath.

Think for a minute Francis.

My mom’s neighbors on both sides of her are Bosnian. Really nice folks. Exchange Christmas presents with her and always bringing her food. I don’t know ( or care) what religion they are.

The STL metro area is the largest concentration of Bosnians in the world outside of Bosnia. I know they’re not Arabs but my point is that I don’t care. They’re Americans.

A big problem with Islam is the arabization aspect. It is an arabian centric religion. Bosnian muslims are actually very well behaved, along with central asian muslims. Some muslims from the caucasus are ok, however Chechens are notorious for being bad actors. Turks can be pretty well behaved as well, except those in Germany from what I have heard. Although if you call a Turk an arab, you will get chewed out in their wacky language. The arab identity is a big part of islam. You are supposed to read the quran in arabic, and pray in arabic, otherwise "allah" will not hear your prayer. Much of these non arab muslims can read arabic but they have no idea what they are even saying.

The levant was mostly arabized. Even Christians of the region speak Arabic and read the bible in Arabic. Christian Arabs will also say "Allah" for God, however I have always disagreed with that, because allah is actually a pagan god from arabia. Pagan Arabs of the hijaz (modern day saudi arabia) worshipped hundreds of gods. Muhammed picked his favorite one and rolled with it.

The levant adopted arabization combined with islamization and I believe it was the downfall of the region. The language differs quite a bit from hijazi arabs, and some of the ancient levantine culture and cuisine was maintained, but the arab identity is strong.

The muslims who resisted arabization are typically far more well behaved than those who did not.

Thanks for the insight. I had no idea.

A Turkish guy I met in Amsterdam the first time we went totally saved our asses and ended up being basically our chaperone through Holland, Belgium and Germany for 2 weeks. He was/is a Dutch national. Sadly he was nowhere to be found ( at least by us) the next time we went.

This was in 2002 and he very much wanted us to know that not all Muslims hated America and the west.

I've met a few Turks over my lifetime and they have been great people. Another interesting factoid. Turks used to use the Arabic script. However, during this time, the literacy rate for Turks was EXTREMELY low. Arabic only has 3 vowels. The Turkish language is a vowel rich language. When they switched to the Latin script, literacy among Turks shot up significantly. Latin script made far more sense for the Turkish people than the Arabic script.

Not all muslims hate the west for sure. But those from the Levant region, Afghanistan, Pakistan, East Africa and North Africa will hold the most contempt. And it blows my mind that people from these regions have been invited into America en masse. Though we can all admit that western involvement in these places haven't exactly been for the best. Such as Syria. Those "rebels" ended up becoming ISIS and we funded and armed them. But in some cases, it was necessary, like in North Africa due to the barbary pirates, or freakin Pakistan harboring Bin Laden. Afghans? Waste of time and effort. They are a war like people and no one can take them down. Even the Soviets got burned by them.

Ideally, we have no involvement in any country in any way. So we can fix our own shit. But that is far too much to ask.
