James!! I knew that you seemed like the type who would do that lol! I wish you didn't have the lecture to do because it would have been great to have you out here!
You had no idea how close I was to comming out to your last amp shootout but my funds said no way lol

We will be sure to take some videos of that amp and the rest for you!!! I agree that the 800 sounds insane and I can't wait to hear it in person!! Right now Mike should be 5 1/2 hours into his journey to NY!!!! Tomorrows goint to be fun!!

You guys will love my 800! it's seriously trumps any other modified 800 I've heard/played

I really think that it's the best mod to be done to an 800 as it still retains it's charachter, but it isn't as simple as putting in new tubes.

the power section is so fast when dialed that way, the girth and grind controls really compliment the preamp mod he did to it, the best part is you can dial the amp to be a bit looser if you choose, but why the hell would you do that?!?!?

seriously Mike was very gracious in how the whole thing came about, and if anyone is on the fence in terms of a mod or getting one of his production amps, just jump, it's very much worth anything in terms of time or money put into it!

Ultimatly I want to have all of Mikes amps and get a few more modified.

Enjoy the 800 as I do! it really is a fuckin beast!!!!

I wish i could join you guys and bring some amps to the party, but being 9 hours flight away unfortunately it cant happen this time! But i WILL make it to NY at some point and then i can catch up with all you guys and crank up some amps with ya!!
