Updates ? video ? clips ? arrests ? It's 12:30 people - we want some F-ing Action

Lol same here! it's 2:30 now and nothing!
I'll just sit here and stare at the meathead pics!

C

You know, its 3:15 already...I'm guessing this was all just a big gag and they got together for a group hug at the local Guitar Center.

At least with Lugo's deal we were already "trapped inside this lonely mayeeyaze" by now....

Not much vicarious living going on here

I'm pretty anxious for a review too.

...man I wish I could've gone.

It was real ... my ears are still ringing.
The meathead is the beast.
The modded 80 and bones are also awesome.
Some monster players were wailing.
I'm sure there will be better reviews to follow.

Patiently awaiting for the crew that was there to start chiming in. Would love some vids or clips. Pics would be cool as well.

No cameras, there was some vid shot with Ralph and Carl playing I believe, I know CArl was going through the meathead and not sure what Ralph was playing. They let me play in the beginning to get the hacks out of the way so that only quality players were being taped

My ears hurt, plain and simple.

I will not be around much due to going to a non 3G vacation spot so I will give my thoughts now, Mike's work is very very good  The Bones and Meathead have stupid quick tracking, no matter how fast you drill, plam mute, downstroke riffing..............the amps are as tight as a drum. Very articulate no matter what type of chords you throw at them. I wish I had brought my Schector down as I have that tuned to an open C and would have loved to rip Devy's Deadhead through either one. The amps just do not fall apart period.

Nice feel, not as forgiving as a boogie or my JVM but you do not have to wrestle the amp to get the goods. I am sure after a week I would be back at home.

Clean up great with the fiddle volume no matter amounts of gain you have dialed in.

The Hulk is a monster trash amp that has the same basic qualities of Mike's own line and the 1987x modded amp was killer through Dave's vintage marshall with original h30s.

Many thanks to Mike for taking the time to answer any n00b question that I had, very humble and polite and knows where he wants to go. Also very cool to meet Carl, great guy and it was great to chat for the few minutes that we did.

Also had Dave's Jose and Aldrich Camerons, killer amps as well.

I dont feel like typing anymore right now as I am fucking tired, the LIE blows donkey dick.

Almost forgot a couple of things....

It was great to see Ralphie, Dave, Ivan and Joe again, I really wish that I could hang out more as all are great humans.

PLayed the axe-fx as well......................it kills and yup the feel is there. I was listening to Carl go through it and that one box can replace a rack

HULK HULK HULK !!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR ! Ah...the Digi-caster will be in production soon for a small amount of $1200

Good seeing you bro again, man it was a long time huh??? Glad I could provide some laughes as you watched that black mustang bombing up and down the roads totally lost

James, we never polled or even really spoke about one or the other. I can only speak for myself that both Mark's and Mike's stuff bring their own killer thing with them. It was cool that we could hear both side by side as they are my favorite marshall type builders.

Digi - caster ?! count me in !!! totally smokes the fender yngwie model in every aspect ...smooth ..just soooo silky smooooth ...def on the want list !!!

The camerons were a diffrent animal diffrent voicing to them ..the Aldrich mod is Killer in its own aspect . If the CCV was in full production it would a really hard choice btw buying a Cameron or a Fortin ...would all depend on what sounds best to your ears ...both blow the doors off 99% of any amp on the market .. the 1 % left are truly great amps also .. thats for you to decide what is in the 1% no matter who makes it ...but the MeatHead is really something else ..

Whew!! What a day! I did the ampfest and then had to go to a band rehearsal! My hands are killing me lol!!

What great bunch of people. I loved hanging with each and everyone of you psychos!!!
The time just flew by!

Im just blown away by Mikes amps. They just do it for me and to be honest with you, I wasn't sure I was going to like them way back when I first met Mike. The thing is that he has a ton of tones under his belt.

That freaking Hulk amp was just insane. FUCK ME running... Ive never heard a mod quite like it before and HULK is a great name for it :hys: That amp has elephant BALLS. Just incredible sounding and although it can get nasty, I think there are many tones that can be coaxed out of it.

The Meathead is just nuts. 6 channels of goodness with so many options to it that Id have to let Mike chime in. I can't think of any other option that he could add lol. The great thing is that each channel is capable of getting so many tones depending on how you set it that the combinations are endless.

The cali mod is just that. It takes you back to 1984 lol what a great sounding mod shit all of them sounded great.

Im just sorry that we didn't get more video. Dave and I got to play the amps earlier and I would have loved to have had that on tape because when a camera finally did arrive we were spent :hys:

Im wiped out otherwise Id give more detail!!

Joey, Im sorry you got chummed brother lol. I didn't realize that we were running out of time :D

No worries .. they'll be other HOM's blah blah ..you know .. dude your drilling has gotten so much smoother ..you FUCKING KILL ..you shouldve had that on video !!!

If rig - talk saw that ... H O LY S H I T H O L Y S H I T    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much brother Joe! I don't hear it but so far you and Kage said the same thing. You sounded excellent as well bro! Its always a pleasure hanging with you. More madness to come as soon as I get my amp back from Mike. Its a 100 wat version of the cali mod

I want the hulk mod as well but I need to hear the NATAS. I need a Fortin original in the arsinal!!!

Ralph , From When I met you ... your precision has gone through the roof .... Thanks too Brother but , you got more talent in your pinky nail than I have in my whole body

The HULK Truly brought my back to the 80'S when I used to hang out with SteveVHT in his basement .. Ithas the testament/anthrax/exodus/OLD metallica vibe going on .... Like when Dave started playing Madhouse from anthrax ....it was a total flashback from the glory days ...

So if I'm not mistaken there were Fortins and Camerons there and so far everyone likes the Fortin batter?

Different amps and each have their own thing going. My Cameron's are not going any where "and" I would like to get something from Mike. I am considering a "Bones" since it has more of what I would actually use. I would love to have it with a 4 button footswitch… one switch for each gain setting (3 way switch) and one to turn on/off the loop. I think the bones will be the biggest seller….but of course that is my opinion. It does the clean well, but has the nuts to play any type of genre of music well. Being able to use any type of power tube is a big plus for me!!! 6550's one day, EL34's the next!!!

I really like the Meathead too. So many options… I would like to have played all of the amps at lower volumes to get a feel for how I would really be playing. We were playing at blistering volumes…and I have yet to be able to play at my house or a club at the volumes we were playing at.

Sup Brother!! Yeah, we had the volume up pretty high lol :D
Definitely louder then any of my gig volumes :hys:
With that said, Mike had them at Ralph Volume before you were there and they all sounded fantastic. All of Mikes amps have great master volumes and they can sound great at any volume. Both carl Roa and I aren't loud volume players, so I think its safe to say that Mikes amps sound great Low or high!!
It was great hanging with you! When I get my Modded amp back from Mike, we will have to have another get together in your neck of the woods. I know the trip out had to be brutal!!!
By the way, I was tryong to find a way to steal your cab :hys: Sounded freaking fantastic!!
