I would argue that a merry go round proves you wrong. The whole thing spins at a consistent speed. Everyone on it, and everything on it is moving at the same speed yet I can still detect I am in motion and that is just a few mph, not 1000 as in the claims of a spinning blue marble. Even if you put a window around the whole thing, motion would be detected, especially a spinning motion.If everything is moving at the same exact speed, you don’t notice that you are moving. Simple as that. It is easy to test in our everyday lives as I’ve mentioned here. It doesn’t matter if the speed is fast or slow, as long as it’s constant
