Who wants to know?

I am Nigerian Princess trying to contact the seal for his inheritance of genuine 1959 Les Paul string guitar collection formerly owned by all of the rockstar. He simply need to pay release fee so that I may ship them to him overnight from Congo. You can also pay the fee for your best of friend if you would like as the Christian holiday is soon. After further review, I have found inheritance for Dave M as well. This is good news for you. I have Machine Gun Kelly and Lil Wayne guitar that await for you, just pay small fee for release and cash the check send me half and keep the other half for your time. This inheritance offer comes straight from the King and will expire for you after seven full earth rotations.

So the finished appearance of the picture is even less accurate to the actual appearance of our "planet" is all you are telling me.

LOL, bro you're conflating two things. The colorized images was relating to "Deep Space" pictures @JackBootedThug mention.

Not the pictures of the Earth. Pretty sure the earth pictures are typically shot in human visible spectrum.

Why couldn't they take a single image and share it with the class?

Answer: High altitude isn't high enough to fit the whole earth into a single shot. It's the only logical conclusion.

Because it's all bs.They can't fly that high!

When I was a teenager one of my first jobs was installing C-Band satellite dishes. What the hell do you think I was aiming those things at? ?‍♂️ :hys:

Why would you take a composite shot rather than a single? Many reasons really, the main one would be to have super high resolution.

But they can be embellished very easily….make sense? Basically nasa is photoshopping everything…like riffy used to do with the evh pics….

The colors represent real things though. They don’t decide to make some galaxies red to look cool, it’s because they are further away/dimmer. (Longer wave lengths).

You gotta remember too, these images are being sent back to earth from a million miles away. They aren’t sent back as one neat little jpeg. They have to be broken down and put back together.
