Take global warming, or climate change, or whatever you want to call it

Science will tell you CO2 traps heat
Science will tell you how much CO2 is in the atmosphere
Science will tell you the temperature of the earth.
Science will tell you how much CO2 a car or factory produces

After that, it’s people putting that information in to a narrative. A popular one is noticing a general rise in the first 3 things around the same time as the rise of the 4th thing, hence man made global warming.

I person who happens to be a scientist may agree with that narrative, but that is not the same as saying “science is pushing global warming”

Science just says what the temps are every year. In fact, science taught us about natural cycles too! Other people use that for their narratives.

And if there is no funding, there are no paid science gigs. So it's a self perpetuating thing that uses carefully selected statistics and numbers to generate a narrative. It's kind of like getting aggro about tips on sixth street. If I don't push the "I'm trying to survive" narrative there won't be as much money involved. Except I'm not lying and they are, lol

Discounting everything before 1800 would make it a complete scam. Science tells us the earth is billions of years old. My bible even says that is possible, so a couple hundred years of data isn't enough to generate an accurate picture. Not even close.

Science will most certainly tell you how the old the earth is and that it has been way hotter and way colder than it is now
