cool pics. Yeah, that was the heyday (is that a word?) of metal. When you would sit up on Saturday night, just waiting for Headbangers Ball to come on. At that time, there really was nothing heavier.

Awesome dude, thanks for sharing! Must have been a killer show. What the hell guitar is Mustaine playing though? It's ugly as f**k (well, to me at least). Just used to seeing him with Vs of some sort....is it a BC Rich?

That is a 10 string BC Rich Bich not a Mockingbird. Looks like the 4 strings aren't there.
 
I know this is old, but this has some cool shots of his old BC Rich and gear. I notice there are Bill Lawrence L-500L's in Dave's guitar, and he's got some of those Rockman units with his Marshall's! Dave has used some interesting gear over the years. Peace Sell's had his best tone and was Megadeth's best album IMO. What a great year 1986 was!
 
I loved that guitarDave had. Always wanted one when I was young because of a poster I had hanging on my wall from that era.

Yup its a bich. Gar is playing an import model and Dave is playing a mockingbird. Still have my 84 bich which plays like a dream (tho the neck is a little tiny for my hands these days). Saw those guys on their first tour and was blown away by how unique and aggressive they were at that time. No one was writing like Dave back then! If only that album was recorded better!
